Amy B.

Amy has 25 years of experience teaching high school mathematics in the United States. From the University of Michigan, she holds a Master’s degree in Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Mathematics. She also holds a Michigan teaching certificate in secondary mathematics and has extensive experience teaching students across different grade levels and ability levels. She has served in instructional leadership roles at both the school and district levels and has participated in teacher training, curriculum improvement, and professional development. She is skilled at adapting instruction to students’ needs and using assessment data such as NWEA, SAT, and M-STEP to guide learning. Amy also has extensive experience with one-on-one tutoring and online instruction, helping students strengthen their math foundation, problem-solving skills, and confidence.
