Hayley P.

Hayley has 8 years of teaching experience in the United States. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and a master’s degree from Georgia State University. She is a certified teacher in Michigan, with qualifications to teach all subjects in grades K–5, as well as all subjects in K–8 self-contained classrooms. Hayley has extensive experience teaching both elementary and middle school students, with particular strengths in Mathematics and English Language Arts (ELA). She has taught in U.S. public schools, forest school settings, and online learning environments. She also has experience working with English Learners (EL/ESL) and is skilled at adapting instruction to students’ different language levels and learning needs. Hayley strives to create a warm yet appropriately challenging classroom environment. She builds strong relationships with students by connecting lessons to their interests and uses a variety of strategies, including visual supports, to help students understand concepts and stay engaged. She places a strong emphasis on individualized and differentiated instruction, helping students master core academic skills while building confidence in their learning.
