Ms. Chen began studying piano at the age of five and passed the Grade 10 Piano Examination at Xi’an Conservatory of Music at the age of 13. She received 17 years of systematic piano training under teachers and doctoral instructors from the Central Conservatory of Music, developing a strong technical foundation and extensive performance experience. During her undergraduate and graduate studies, she received multiple university-level comprehensive and academic scholarships and was invited several times as a guest performer at master’s midterm and graduation recitals. She has extensive experience in both online and in-person piano instruction, having taught more than 30,000 online lessons. Many of her in-person students have successfully passed piano examinations. She currently teaches students preparing for performance-level examinations and music school auditions, and can also provide individualized instruction for students who wish to learn specific pieces. She is patient, caring, and attentive in her teaching, and adapts her approach to each student’s level, goals, and individual needs. While emphasizing a strong technical foundation, she also focuses on musical expression and performance skills, helping students improve their playing abilities while developing confidence and enjoyment in learning the piano.
