Holds a Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degree in Communication from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. She has long specialized in the fields of public speaking, communication studies, and intercultural communication, combining a strong academic background with extensive classroom teaching experience. With nearly 10 years of teaching experience in university-level communication and speech courses, Sierra has served as an instructor and adjunct professor at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, Texas State University, Roosevelt University, and Dominican University. She has taught courses including Public Speaking, Intercultural Communication, and Interviewing to undergraduate students across different academic levels. Sierra specializes in helping students develop confidence in public speaking and effective communication through interactive discussions, role-playing activities, and real-world case studies. She is skilled at integrating contemporary social topics and intercultural communication scenarios into her teaching, enabling students to build clear, engaging, and persuasive speaking styles. In addition, she has strong experience in curriculum development, activity design, and project management, creating dynamic and highly interactive classroom environments that encourage student participation and creativity.
