He earned his Ph.D. and M.A. in Philosophy from Temple University and holds dual bachelor’s degrees from St. John’s College (Liberal Arts) and the University of Colorado at Boulder (Philosophy) . His areas of specialization include Ethics, Professional Ethics (Business, Engineering, Computer, Medical, and Organizational), as well as Logic and Critical Thinking. He brings over two decades of experience teaching philosophy at the university level. He has taught at institutions such as Drexel University, Temple University, Villanova University, and several other universities, offering courses in Ethics, Professional Ethics, Logic, Critical Reasoning, and Environmental Ethics . He has published extensively in leading journals including Journal of Business Ethics and Science and Engineering Ethics, demonstrating both strong theoretical foundations and interdisciplinary engagement . In his teaching, Dr. Stieb emphasizes rigorous reasoning, clarity of argument, and the practical application of philosophical ideas to contemporary moral and professional challenges.
