Holds a Doctor of Education in Administration from Saint Louis University, a Master of Education from Webster University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Education from St. Mary University. She also earned an ESL Certification from Kansas State University and is completing additional certification in Special Education and Autism at Emporia State University. She hold a Biology degree from the University of Kansas, as well. She has a wide variety of interests. With more than 20 years of experience in English language instruction, Dr. Hamtil has taught and coached educators in literacy development, ESL methodologies, and culturally responsive teaching. She has served as both a classroom teacher and adjunct professor, helping students and teachers strengthen their English proficiency and instructional practice.
