My name is Oleg Chanyshev and I love teaching and helping students! My background is in mathematics/economics/finance and I have worked in the finance and consulting industries. That said, I have tutored both part-time and full-time for the last 9 or so years. I specialize in SAT/ACT test prep as well as quantitative subjects such as high school mathematics, economics, finance, and physics. I view each student score/grade improvement as a personal success and it makes me happy to see students grow and achieve their goals! I have a Masters in Mathematics of Finance from Columbia University and a Bachelors in Economics from The University of Chicago. I believe that my education and group work has contributed to my success as a tutor/instructor. I am originally from Russia, though I have lived in the United States for a long time now. I have also tutored students in the Russian language. Outside of my career and tutoring, I enjoy winter and water sports, traveling, music, reading, and films.
