Bede's Summer Camp - Windlesham
Bede’s Summer School truly delivers an immersive international boarding experience. From the moment students arrive on campus, they are surrounded by a vibrant and highly international environment. The school carefully limits students of the same language background to no more than 20%, encouraging children to naturally communicate in English within a truly diverse setting. Each center is thoughtfully organized by age group, with courses designed to be both appropriately challenging and developmentally suitable. All teaching staff meet accredited UK standards, and the program uses the CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) approach, combining English learning with engaging subjects such as science, technology, geography, and history. Through exploration, hands-on activities, and critical thinking, students improve their language skills in a meaningful and enjoyable way. The boarding campuses offer spacious and secure outdoor environments with a wide variety of activities, including sports, arts, and STEM projects, as well as 2–4 excursions each week. Beyond the classroom, students gain authentic exposure to British culture and daily life. With a high staff-to-student ratio, attentive pastoral care, modern facilities, and excellent campus environments, Bede’s ensures that every child can learn, grow, and thrive in a safe and supportive atmosphere—returning home with greater confidence, stronger English skills, and unforgettable memories.

Course Overview
This programme takes place at Windlesham House School, founded in 1837. Surrounded by beautiful natural scenery, the school offers an inspiring environment close to nature. The programme combines outdoor activities with thought-provoking themes, allowing students to challenge themselves while improving their English skills at the same time.
Each week includes 18.5 hours of lessons covering English Skills, Mission Possible, and Explorations. The curriculum not only develops students’ language abilities, including grammar and vocabulary, but also focuses on building essential 21st-century skills such as communication, collaboration, and critical thinking.
In the afternoons, students participate in a variety of sports and recreational activities, including cooking, dance, drama, football, tennis, swimming, and more. Every Wednesday and weekend, students join supervised excursions led by school staff to visit places of cultural and historical interest.

- Each floor has shared bathroom facilities. Every boarding house also includes a common lounge area with comfortable chairs or sofas where students can relax during their free time, as well as books and board games for entertainment.
- Bede’s staff also live in the boarding houses alongside the students and are available 24 hours a day to provide support and assistance, including handling emergencies during the night. Each boarding house has a dedicated House Parent responsible for the daily management of the house and for students’ comfort and wellbeing.
- The school holds daily roll calls and briefing meetings to ensure all students are present and informed about the day’s schedule.
