Introduction to Algebra

The curriculum of this course is based on the book Art of Problem Solving- Introduction to Algebra (2nd edition). The course will cover most of the topics that are taught in the regular middle school Algebra 1 course in grade 8 or 9, and aims to challenge students for deep understanding of math concepts, such as counting & probability, geometry, and number theory. It is ideal for students who are looking for challenging math problems and/or systematically preparing middle/high school math contests. This course is suitable for driven students (5th grade or up) who have mastered the pre-algebra courses.
