Chinese Immersion Art (6-8 yo)

The 6-8 year old curriculum focuses on art concepts and design principles. Children will learn to observe their surroundings to understand the relationship between art and the natural world. They will also learn color theory and experiment with different materials and tools to explore their individual interests in creative and design work. Through interactive classes and hands-on activities, children will learn different Chinese vocabulary and expressions related to art, such as "自然" (nature), "设计" (design), and "颜色理论" (color theory). Teachers will encourage children to analyze and express their artwork using learned art-related vocabulary, differentiating between materials and painting techniques during the presentation of their works. Children will have fun with art activities while improving their Chinese listening and speaking skills.
