Advanced Class will cover an array of opening traps and common mistakes by chess players in the books Opening Traps and Zaps 1 + 2. Students will also learn the old games of Greco, Morphy, and the earliest World Champions. This class will emphasize positional maneuvering and planning through World Champion’s games. Students will also learn various concepts such as pawn play and strategy, advanced tactical ideas, and how to execute in the endgame.
